Shawarma Bar opened amidst the hustle and bustle of Islington's Exmouth Market in 2016 and is the second offering from The Berber & Q Food Group.
We are inspired by the streets and cafe culture of Tel Aviv, and our menu takes influence from cuisines across the Middle East and Mediterranean.
FOOD
We are open for lunch and dinner throughout the week with a menu revolving around two main sections.
A mix of vegetable mezze and hummus dishes changing seasonally, and a selection of rotisserie and grilled meats served in one of three ways; in our pita, on a bed of rice, or deconstructed on the plate.
Slow-cooking and spit-roasting ensures our homage to traditional shawarma is upheld, whilst also bringing our own twist, and always using high-quality and responsibly-sourced ingredients.
DRINK
Our carefully crafted cocktails take centre stage at Shawarma Bar, with infusions and ingredients complementing the cuisine and providing a perfect accompaniment to the many mezze and meat dishes on offer.
We also offer a range of wines, working with passionate producers and focusing on a mainly low-intervention menu, all of which have been selected to be the ideal imbibe alongside the spices and flavours of our food.

We now offer a click and collect service so you can get your Shawarma Bar food to takeaway.

RESERVE
Shawarma Bar is primarily a walk-in restaurant but we do have a number of tables that can be reserved for both lunch and dinner.
We are open Tuesday to Sunday for lunch (12-3) and dinner from 6pm Tuesday to Thursday and from 5:30pm Friday to Sunday.
Our Kitchen closes at 10:30pm each night except Sundays when we close at 9:30pm
